Inkjet printer Dimatix DMP-2831

Inkjet printer is designed to deposit conductive and dielectric layers on substrates by jet piezoelectric printing using special ink. It allows to form printed layers of different complexity. Viscosity of used ink: 2 -30 cps. Repeatability: ± 25 μm. Used cartridge: 16 nozzles with a pitch of 254 microns, single-row. The volume of the drop is 1 and 10 pl. Inks cartridges are reusable. Cartridges can be filled again from the syringe through a filter, which allows to filter agglomerated particles that are bigger than allowed size. The maximum size of the substrate is A4. Inkjet printer is attached to a vacuum table with heat resistance up to 60 ° C.

Screen printer LPKF Protoprint S

Manual screen printing is designed to apply functional layers on flexible and rigid substrates by screen printing method. The substrates are attached to the printer's table. Flexible substrates are attached to a special vacuum table with maximum dimensions of 300 x 300 mm. The required amount of paste, ink or adhesive is applied to the stencil using metal or rubber squeegee then the material is manually forced through the holes. The printer works with high-viscosity solder pastes and pastes for printed electronics with high metal content (silver and inks proportion of paste can reach 70-85%). Printer features by model: allows two-sided printing, strictly parallel stencil separation, printing on pads with a small pitch (up to 0.3 mm). The board size is 297 x 420 mm.

FOM Compact Sheet Coater

The equipment is designed to apply functional layers on substrates by sheet printing method. This method allows to form printable coatings with controlled parameters that gives the ability to set paste feeding speed, coating speed and drying temperature. The ink is placed in a container (syringe) for dosing then using compressed air it goes to the printhead. Specified coating structure is obtained depending on the meniscus and the arrangement of the partitions. The sheet printing system is well suited for applications where a thin layer (up to 5 nm in a dry form) is required to be applied over large areas. The maximum size of the substrate is A4. The printer enables to reduce ink consumption. This printer is ideal to use for experiments with expensive materials.

Component mounting system LPKF ProtoPlace S

The component mounting system is designed for mounting discrete components on substrates that cannot be created by printing methods. The minimum size of the assembled component is 0201. The system has a dispenser for adhesive application for components fixation. The components can be mounted either on rigid or flexible printed circuit boards (in the latter case, a special vacuum table is required). The substrates are mounted either by position pins or by magnetic edge holders. The board size is 297 x 420 mm.

Glove box Innovative Technology Inert Lab IL-2GB

The box is a sealed chamber with transparent polycarbonate glass on the front panel and glove ports located in it. The operator inserts his hands into the gloves and, thus, gets the opportunity to manipulate inside the box without breaking the seal. The box is equipped with two pre-cameras - large and small for loading inside the materials and unloading the finished products. Also, the system includes a gas purification system to remove oxygen and water to keep proper concentration of less than 1 ppm and a vacuum pump.

Analytical equipment

The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of analytical equipment for the characterization of functional pastes and adhesives, as well as printed traces.

Equipment for drying printed layers

The laboratory equipment allows to work with thermally cured pastes as well as with UV.
